Kiewit Engineering Group, Inc. is seeking a Lead Electrical Designer to guide EPC project design for power facilities. You will manage a design team focused on electrical raceway systems, interfacing with multiple disciplines and construction teams to deliver safe, cost-effective designs that meet client expectations.

This Senior role emphasizes leadership, schedule adherence, budget oversight, and strong 3D conceptual design in a growth-focused Power district.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in electrical design.
• Experience leading electrical design teams.
• Experience managing budget and schedule.
• Power generation experience preferred.
• Experience in SmartPlant 3D.
• Able to conceptualize in a 3D environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a group of electrical designers in developing raceway systems.
• Oversee design activities against project schedule and budget.
• Track and report design progression to PM and team.
• Complete monthly quantity, schedule, and forecast reports.
• Coordinate with construction to ensure safe, constructible design.
• Collaborate with other disciplines and engineers on design.
• Mentor design team and ensure standards compliance.
