Qualifications

• Associate Degree in electrical engineering/technology or equivalent trade school certificate.
• Clear understanding of Ohm’s law and standard electrical calculations.
• Ability to obtain and interpret datasheets for electrical and control components.
• Ability determine electrical wiring requirements.
• Design for manufacturability concept knowledge and application with emphasis on electrical wiring.
• Electrical schematic design using CAD software.
• Electrical component/panel layout using CAD.
• Bill of materials structures and databases.
• Engineering change management.
• Manufacturing electrical support.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering design and order processing for standard and customized HVAC orders from concept through delivery.
• Support design updates and process improvements for legacy HVAC products.
• Collaborate with production and suppliers to build prototype and mockup products.
