IMEG, an employee-owned firm, seeks an Electrical Project Lead in Madison, WI to coordinate and manage design projects from scope through construction. You will support executives with proposals, prepare schedules, and maintain client communications while ensuring adherence to codes and quality processes.

The role emphasizes mentoring staff, delivering milestones on time, and building strong client relationships in healthcare and industrial sectors. Travel up to 20% is expected.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Associates degree or BIM-related certificate preferred.
• 7–8+ years in building design consulting; 11+ years acceptable with 12+ years in related fields.
• Ability to mentor and lead others; strong team leadership.
• Knowledge of electrical design, codes, and standards; strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency with MasterSpec editing; experience with eSPECS; familiarity with Revu tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, oversee, and manage projects of varying size and complexity.
• Assist executives with design scopes, proposals, and contract reviews.
• Create project schedules with milestones and deadlines.
• Serve as primary contact for teams and clients.
• Generate monthly billings and update financial projections.
• Ensure designs meet codes and owner requirements; support construction teams.
• Lead meetings and document progress; schedule site visits as needed.
• Develop and maintain client relationships; mentor staff.
