Job summary

Responsibilities include building prototypes, testing fixtures, inspecting parts, managing lab equipment, and collaborating with engineers to ensure a safe, productive work environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and 10+ years of professional experience required.
• Experience reworking PCBs and soldering to add/remove components.
• Experience with at least one data acquisition system.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• MS Office proficiency; Altium Designer is a plus.
• Basic mechanical machining and 3D CAD experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Debug and design validation of board and system level electronics.
• Design validation testing focused on electronics.
• Test mechanical, electrical, and optical components and subsystems.
• Document experimental conditions and test results.
• Build prototypes and test fixtures; interface with external vendors for complex parts.
• Inspect incoming parts.
• Manage lab and lab equipment, including calibration.
• Interact with the technical team to foster a safe, productive work environment.
• Design and verify cables.
