Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a mid-level Electrical Engineer for a direct-hire, onsite role in the Southern NH/Salem area. The position emphasizes design engineering for new and legacy products, with hands-on work on PLCs, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and hardware verification.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred) and strong schematic literacy with experience in SPICE, Altium, and EMC considerations, plus PLC/HW testing experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Master's degree is a plus for advanced roles.
Strong reading of electrical/electronic schematics (Altium a plus).
Experience with circuit design, analysis and SPICE simulations.
Experience with PLC programming, Arduino, or custom hardware/software test beds.

Responsibilities

Design engineering for new and legacy products.
Implement hardware designs from requirements specifications.
Perform circuit analysis and simulations for reliable operation across environments.
Develop and implement hardware test plans.
Design and document interconnects and harnesses.
Ensure manufacturability, testability, field serviceability and cost.
Interface with other engineering teams, stakeholders and customers to understand application space and business requirements.
Support current products by finding design solutions to obsolete components.
Communicate with OEM manufacturers and third-party partners to facilitate design and verification.
Follow best practices to improve design quality and participate in electrical and cross-functional design reviews.
Hands-on work with PLCs, Arduino, Raspberry Pi and other hardware.
Data collection, documentation and reporting of test results.
Provide feedback to software and reliability engineers.
