Job summary
Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is seeking an Advanced Engineering Technician to support the design, fabrication, testing, and modification of electromechanical systems and prototype hardware in Quincy, MA.
The role interfaces with engineering and operations to troubleshoot, calibrate, and validate experimental circuitry for product development. The ideal candidate has an Associate degree in Engineering Technology or related field and at least 3 years of prototype development experience, with
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in engineering tech.
- 3+ years in engineering technician roles supporting prototyping or manufacturing.
- Experience with electromechanical systems design, testing, and fabrication.
Responsibilities
- Support design, testing, checkout, modification, fabrication, assembly and maintenance of prototype electromechanical systems.
- Interpret drawings, schematics, and docs to support manufacturing and development.
- Build and calibrate prototype hardware and test equipment; document results and improve processes.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to resolve technical challenges and drive improvements.
- Conduct statistically based experiments to validate process parameters.
