Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking an Electrical Senior Engineering Technician to support Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects. You will develop 2D/3D electrical drawings, conduit layouts, grounding, and lighting using Bentley MicroStation and related tools.

Under minimal supervision, apply advanced electrical engineering principles, manage budgets/schedules, and contribute to project deliverables. AGI32 lighting modeling is preferred for BESS facilities.

Qualifications

• 11+ years of related work experience.
• Experience with electrical design for power facilities.
• Ability to supervise and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior engineering technician and design specialist.
• Create and maintain technical drawings using CAD/BIM.
• Train and oversee other technicians to ensure quality.
• Ensure deliverables meet codes and project standards.
• Participate in process improvement activities.
