Job summary

Ulteig Engineers, Inc. is seeking a BIM Engineering Technician to support Battery Energy Storage system design. The role focuses on 2D/3D drafting in Revit and AutoCAD, and creating construction drawings for BESS projects.

Remote work is available from anywhere in the US, with the option to work from Ulteig offices. The ideal candidate will have a two-year technical degree (or be enrolled in drafting), at least 5 years of experience, and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or currently enrolled in school for Technical Drafting.
• Minimum 5 years of experience.
• Knowledge of Revit is required.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Knowledge of BESS electrical physical design is a plus.
• Knowledge of Dynamo and/or pyRevit is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D models of BESS designs using Autodesk Revit.
• Ensure 3D models reflect design specifications.
• Integrate 3D models with other project deliverables.
• Keep models up to date and aligned with deadlines.
• Produce construction drawings including plans, sections, details, electrical one-lines and schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams.
• Maintain strong attention to detail and collaborate well with the team.
