Job summary

Ulteig is seeking a BIM Engineering Technician to support Battery Energy Storage design (BESS). The role involves 2D/3D drafting work using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD, collaborating with engineers, and ensuring models meet deadlines.

Remote work from anywhere in the US is possible, with additional flexibility to work from Ulteig offices. Two-year technical degree in drafting with at least 5 years of experience is required.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree in Technical Drafting or currently enrolled in school.
• Minimum 5 years of experience.
• Knowledge of Revit is required.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
• Proven experience in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Access).
• Knowledge of BESS electrical physical design is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Dynamo and/or pyRevit is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other technical staff to develop 3D models of BESS design using Autodesk Revit.
• Ensure 3D models are accurate and reflect design specifications.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure 3D models integrate with other project deliverables.
• Ensure 3D models are up to date and meet project deadlines.
• Complete design and construction drafting work including plans, sections, electrical one-lines and schematics, panel layouts, wiring and communications diagrams.
