Job summary

BN Associates Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Lead in Houston, TX.

You will own the conceptualization, design, development and detailing of electrical enclosures and cable harnesses for heavy industrial applications. The role requires 5–8 years of hands-on electrical design, with at least 2 years in a technical lead capacity, and familiarity with NPI, design change management, PLM, and international standards such as UL/NEC, IEC, and NEMA.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
5–8 years of hands-on electrical design experience, with at least 2 years in a technical lead role.
NPI projects knowledge for E-houses, modular buildings, plant rooms, or heavy industrial enclosures.
Familiarity with UL/NEC, IEC, and NEMA standards is a plus.
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical.

Responsibilities

Lead conceptualization, design, development and detailing of electrical enclosures.
Drive NPI, design change management and PLM processes.
Design electrical cabinets and cable harnesses independently.
Select components, prepare BoM, terminal strips, wire charts and cable schedules.
Ensure on-time delivery and high-quality adherence; strong cross-functional collaboration.
