Katalyst-Healthcares- is seeking an experienced Harness Design Engineer to lead electrical system and wiring harness development for heavy equipment. You will develop new product programs and retrofit kits, routing harnesses, and integrating sensors and controllers with CAD tools.

The role requires onsite leadership coordinating with offshore teams, ensuring manufacturable designs, thorough documentation, BOMs, and compliance with EMC/EMI standards.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Proven experience in electrical systems and wiring harness design.
• Experience with both new product development and retrofit programs.
• Strong understanding of electrical routing, sensors, connectors, and integration for heavy equipment.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
• Experience working with global engineering teams and offshore delivery models.

Aufgaben

• Design electrical systems, wiring harnesses, and cable assemblies for new programs and retrofit kits.
• Create harness routing solutions with high- and low-voltage connectors, sensors, and controllers.
• Integrate components into machine platforms using CAD while ensuring fit and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, systems, and manufacturing teams to ensure reliable designs.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate into work packages.
• Serve as onsite technical lead and coordinate with offshore teams.
• Review and validate designs and drawings produced offshore.
• Prepare BOMs, connector tables, wiring specs, and schematics.
• Support equipment builds, testing, troubleshooting, and validation.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards and environmental requirements.
