Job summary

ADM is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead electrical design activities for ADM facilities across North America. The role covers HV/MV/LV systems, engineering package development, and coordination with EPCs and vendors.

The successful candidate will review technical deliverables, ensure code compliance, and contribute to FEL 1/2/3 packages, including interface management and safety considerations. Travel up to ~45% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of electrical engineering/design experience in industrial environments.
• License Professional Engineer (P.E.) designation, or ability to obtain after hire.

Responsibilities

• Review EPC and consultant deliverables for technical correctness, completeness, constructability, and compliance with project requirements.
• Develop and review HV/MV/LV distribution designs, protective devices, and grounding.
• Lead FEL 1/2/3 engineering package development and coordinate with interfaces (civil/structural, mechanical, process, I&C).
• Provide procurement support, vendor data review, and technical governance for electrical systems.
• Ensure safety, codes/standards compliance (NFPA 70/70E, IEEE/ANSI, NEMA).
