Job summary

ITC Holdings Corp is seeking an experienced Cost Estimator to lead construction and project cost estimates for transmission, substation, and generation interconnection projects. You will drive accuracy through risk analysis, benchmarking, and collaboration with engineering and supply chain teams.

Responsibilities include leading estimate reviews, developing/maintaining estimation tools, and presenting assumptions to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum two years of related experience for intermediate level; six+ for senior; ten+ for principal.
• Experience with electrical utilities cost estimating and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develops project cost estimates for moderate to complex projects and identifies risks.
• Develops construction cost estimates for transmission lines and substations.
• Leads estimate reviews with management and project teams.
• Provides expert cost judgments to support competitive bids.
• Maintains estimating templates, tools, and data for consistency.
• Interfaces with supply chain, engineering, and project management to resolve data gaps.
• Reviews subcontractor quotes for scope gaps and follow-up actions.
• Mentors estimators on methodologies, ITC processes, and software tools.
