Job summary

The role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, systems upgrades (AC/DC motors, VFDs, PLC/HMI), and collaboration with maintenance and operations to boost machine performance and efficiency across the site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in industrial PLC/electrician roles with supervisory experience
• Experience with PLC/SCADA/HMI programming and troubleshooting
• Experience using a CMMS for work order management
• Ability to lead and mentor electrical technicians
• Strong safety awareness and leadership skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate Electrical/PLC tasks and improvement projects
• Troubleshoot machinery and provide automation programming support
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations to maximize performance
• Upgrade control systems from older technologies to newer platforms
• Develop data acquisition and reporting; mentor technicians
• Lead capital project efforts and manage parts inventory
