Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to support electrical distribution systems, manufacturing process controls, and plant-wide control system upgrades. The role focuses on PLC programming, HMI development, electrical troubleshooting, and driving reliability and safety across the facility.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with operations, maintenance, contractors, and engineering teams to advance productivity and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for electrical distribution, industrial controls, automation systems, and PLC-based processes.
• Troubleshoot and modify PLC logic, controls, and automation systems to support production reliability.
• Develop, modify, and maintain HMI systems including Wonderware, Aveva, and Ignition platforms.
• Support installation, coordination, and maintenance of electrical and control system projects.
• Lead technical portions of project design, costing, quoting, and implementation for electrical and automation upgrades.
• Provide engineering support for internally and externally developed control system projects.
• Coordinate with contractors, operations, and maintenance teams to ensure safe and effective execution of electrical work.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, TPM practices, and process optimization efforts.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and operational procedures.
