Job summary

The Superior Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to drive electrical construction projects on site in Conesville, Ohio. You will lead project teams, manage budgets, schedules, and safety while coordinating with superintendents and foremen to ensure timely project completion.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in commercial construction project management, with bonus qualifications in CM degrees or certificates, and familiarity with design-build, hard bid, and negotiated contracts around $50M+.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
• Bonus: Construction Management degree, Engineering degree, Construction Management Program certificate, or related degree.
• Bonus: experience with design-build, hard bid, and negotiated projects around $50M+.
• Bonus: knowledge of construction management software.
• Bonus: active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead our project team(s) and provide clear communication and guidance to team members, vendors, clients, and executives.
• Mitigate and manage project risk, and elevate concerns – and solutions – quickly to Project Operations and Field Operations leadership.
• Maintain and grow the trust of clients by cultivating relationships, communicating swiftly, collaborating, and solving challenges.
• Oversee all project finance requirements and lead the team through accurate billings, project setup, project buy-out, project cost control, change order management, and cost-to-complete.
• Ensure compliance with the full project schedule from project kickoff to project closeout.
• Chair project meetings including planning, progress updates, and reviews with customers.
• Work with departments across the organization to ensure that project materials are available and in place as needed.
• Own the full scope of the project contract and negotiate changes as needed.
• Maintain a high degree of safety on our work across the jobsite.
