Job summary

The Superior Group in Conesville, Ohio is seeking a Project Manager to drive our electrical construction projects forward. You will manage construction projects, schedule resources, ensure budgets and timelines are met, and work closely with the Superintendent and Foremen to ensure successful progress and completion on the jobsite.

We value safety, strong client relationships, and clear communication. A minimum of 4 years of PM experience in commercial construction is required; relocation

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in commercial construction project management or equivalent field management
• Construction Management degree, Engineering degree, Construction Management Program certificate or related degree preferred
• Experience with design-build, hard bid, and negotiated projects around $5M to $50M
• Extensive knowledge of construction management software
• Active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Mitigate and manage project risk, elevate concerns quickly to Project Operations and Field Operations leadership
• Create and manage the full project schedule from kickoff to closeout
• Manage all project finance requirements: billings, setup, buy-out, cost control, change orders, cost-to-complete
• Build trust with clients through strong communication, collaboration, and problem solving
• Chair project meetings, coordinating planning, progress updates, and customer reviews
• Coordinate with departments to ensure materials are available and on-site as needed
• Provide leadership and clear guidance to the project team
• Understand and negotiate changes within the project contract
• Review project documents including estimates, drawings, specs, and contracts
• Maintain high safety standards across the jobsite and ensure closeout procedures are completed
