Job summary
SC Johnson in Racine, WI, seeks an experienced Electrical/Instrumentation Technician for in-plant maintenance and project work. You will service electrical/electronic systems, PLCs, and automation equipment across manufacturing operations, while adhering to safety standards and site procedures.
The role requires strong troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and SAP work order management experience, with a focus on reliability and uptime in a fast-paced facility.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years as Electrical/Instrumentation Technician in manufacturing/industrial settings.
- State of Wisconsin Master, Journeyman, or Industrial Journeyman License required.
- Experience with Motor Control Centers and 480V maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting of electrical/electronic systems and PLCs.
- Knowledge of SAP work order management and maintenance history tracking.
Responsibilities
- Audit and enforce safety standards, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical/electronic systems.
- Troubleshoot production equipment across manufacturing, R&D, and facility support teams.
- Review maintenance history in SAP and schedule weekly technician activities.
- Lead electrical-related projects and interpret PLC programs for troubleshooting.
