Job summary

SC Johnson is seeking an experienced Electrical/Instrumentation Technician to support maintenance across manufacturing and facilities. The role emphasizes safety, preventive/predictive maintenance, and hands-on troubleshooting of electrical and automation systems.

Qualified candidates will have Wisconsin licensure, 5+ years of industrial experience, and expertise with PLCs, VFDs, and instrumentation. Competitive benefits and a total rewards package are offered.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5+ years of experience as an Electrical/Instrumentation Technician in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
High School diploma or equivalent.
State of Wisconsin Masters, Journeyman or Industrial Journeyman License.
Experience with Motor Control Centers (VFDs - Allen Bradley, Danfoss & Square D).
480V voltage maintenance experience.
Industrial PLC experience.
Process control experience including equipment calibrations.

Responsibilities

Audit and enforce safety standards, procedures and policies (OSHA and others).
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, repair, install, modify electrical/electronic systems and equipment.
Troubleshoot facility and production equipment across all areas, supporting manufacturing, R&D and facilities teams.
Use SAP to review maintenance history, parts, and schedules; manage weekly technicians' schedule.
Lead electrical-related projects and troubleshoot automation and PLC systems.
