Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking an experienced electrical distribution engineer to lead design for 4 kV–34 kV networks. You will oversee sketches, perform analyses, and drive complex projects with cross-disciplinary teams.

The role emphasizes QA/QC, client coordination, and delivering safe, cost-effective solutions. The position offers a hybrid schedule with in-office collaboration three days a week and two remote days.

Qualifications

Degree in engineering required.
12+ years in electric utility distribution.
PE license is a plus.
Experience with distribution design methods.
Familiarity with NEC, NESC, ANSI, IEEE.

Responsibilities

Oversee construction sketches and details for overhead/underground network services.
Design URD and underground network services (4 kV–34 kV).
Analyze and design priority feeds; plan modifications to the distribution system.
Develop work packages and monitor progress; perform QA/QC on construction packages.
Coordinate and lead client meetings and internal reviews.
