Job summary

Mypec in Texas seeks an experienced professional to plan, coordinate, and direct switching and tagging for the electric distribution system. You will write and issue clearances to field personnel, monitor loads, manage emergency restoration, and report on system performance.

The role includes supervisory responsibilities, serving as switching authority, coordinating with the Distribution Operations Center, and using SCADA/ADMS/OMS platforms to ensure reliability.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent; 5 years of directly related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OSI SCADA, ADMS and OMS platforms and electrical theory.
• Understand electrical switching, tagging principles and NERC procedures.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, direct switching and tagging for the distribution grid.
• Monitor loads, oversee restoration efforts and report performance.
• Coordinate with PEC Transmission Control Center and other regions as needed.
