Job summary

Tampa Electric Company in Florida is seeking a seasoned Project Manager I/II to lead planning, engineering, procurement, and construction of capital projects within the Electric Delivery organization. You will act as single point of accountability for scope, schedule, budget, and safety, guiding cross-functional teams to meet objectives.

The role requires a track record in CPM scheduling, contract administration, and budget control; preferred PMP and PE licensure.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten years of work experience comprising: Contract Administration, Electric Delivery System Infrastructure (Design and/or Construction), Scheduling (CPM scheduling), Budgeting Systems and Cost Controls, Contractor Claims Negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and coordinate project work of engineers, construction resources, technicians or others; ensure adherence to scope, budget, and schedule.
• Review PSA, PCRs, and project change requests for management review and signature; provide accurate status reporting.
• Communicate with stakeholders; lead regular project team meetings; present status to management and key stakeholders.
