Job summary

Tampa Electric, part of TECO Energy, seeks a Project Manager I to lead transmission, distribution, substation, and road widening capital projects within the Electric Delivery organization. You will be the single point of responsibility for project planning, execution, and close out, ensuring schedule, budget and safety targets are met.

Required: 10+ years related experience; high school diploma or GED; preferred: Bachelor's degree and PMP/PE licenses.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in business, engineering, construction or related field.
• Preferred PMP certification and PE license.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning, engineering, procurement, construction and start-up of multiple capital projects.
• Oversee scope, cost, time, risk, quality, procurement, communications and HR to drive execution.
• Review PSA, PCRs and project change requests for upper management.
• Coordinate project communications and maintain accurate status reporting.
• Plan and coordinate budgets for expenses, capital, manpower and salary.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
