Job summary

The Training and Development Specialist V designs and develops training programs for DFPS staff through in-person, virtual, and eLearning formats to enhance workforce knowledge, skills, and performance. This role coordinates logistics, aligns content with agency goals, and ensures accessibility across statewide programs.

You will create curricula, interactive modules, and assessments, facilitate workshops, and evaluate training outcomes while collaborating with program experts to meet evolving

Qualifications

• 4+ years in training and development or APS-like programs
• Experience designing curricula and facilitator guides
• Strong knowledge of adult learning and instructional design
• Experience creating eLearning modules and assessments
• Proven ability to plan, coordinate, and execute statewide training
• Experience supervising or leading training teams (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Develop curricula, course outlines, manuals, and instructor guides.
• Create interactive eLearning modules, scripts, and assessments.
• Lead design and development of customized training content across programs.
• Assess training effectiveness and implement improvements.
• Plan, coordinate, and deliver instructor-led and virtual training statewide.
• Facilitate workshops and collaborate with subject matter experts.
