Job summary

Montgomery County Pennsylvania is seeking an EI Service Coordination Director to oversee the Early Intervention Service Coordination Office, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with state and federal mandates. You will lead policy development, staff training, and performance evaluations across multiple teams.

The role requires strong supervisory and administrative skills, collaboration with providers, and participation in due process hearings as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 12 college credits in early intervention, early childhood, special education, or related fields.
• Three years of professional level experience in the Early Intervention system and one year in a supervisory capacity.
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision to 3 Casework Supervisors, 24 EI service coordinators and 3 clerical staff.
• Develop, implement and monitor internal policies and procedures for County, State and Federal requirements.
• Deliver training to staff and perform performance evaluations.
• Interface with providers to resolve service delivery issues and ensure compliance.
• Present information to community and provider groups and collaborate with other health services.
• Participate in administrative meetings and due process hearings as needed.
• Monitor Individual Family Service Plans and ensure timely assessments and services.
