Job summary

The Alliance For Infants and Toddlers, Inc. seeks a Service Coordinator to provide coordination for families with children eligible for Early Intervention in Allegheny County.

Work involves initiative, independence, and adherence to regulations, reporting to a Team Supervisor. Responsibilities include coordinating screenings, scheduling assessments, connecting families with resources, and ensuring timely documentation and transition planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Intervention or related field and one year of related experience.
• Associate degree in Early Intervention or related field with related experience.
• Acts 33, 34 & FBI clearances required.
• Must be able to work at floor level with young children.
• Reliable motor vehicle and PA motor vehicle license.

Responsibilities

• Explain Early Intervention Services to families in Allegheny County.
• Coordinate and schedule screenings and assessments.
• Identify and coordinate community resources and services for child and family.
• Coordinate with medical and health providers.
• Monitor child and family needs through interviews and instruments.
• Provide parent education and support.
• Develop and review the Service Coordination Plan and IFSP.
• Monitor delivery of services through regular contact with family and providers.
• Explain parents' rights and procedural safeguards.
• Initiate transition plan to preschool services.
• Attend team, staff meetings, and required training.
