Job summary

Shirley Parsons is assisting a leading building products manufacturer in Dallas, TX to hire an Environmental, Health & Safety professional for a multi-site manufacturing environment.

You will partner with site leadership, engineering, and operations to drive safety excellence, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives; manage risk, lead audits and training programs, and support regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 3+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing, industrial, or related environments.
  • Strong understanding of OSHA and environmental regulations and safety management systems.
  • Demonstrated project management, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; professional safety certifications are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with site leadership to ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations while supporting company-wide EHS objectives.
  • Analyze safety performance metrics, conduct audits and investigations, risk assessments, and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
  • Lead EHS projects, safety initiatives, ergonomic programs, and continuous improvement activities across manufacturing operations.
  • Deliver and coordinate safety training programs, including incident investigations, lockout/tagout, powered industrial equipment, and best practices.
  • Support environmental compliance efforts, including waste management programs, regulatory requirements, and site-specific initiatives.

A leading building products manufacturer is looking to add an Environmental, Health & Safety professional to support operations across a multi-site manufacturing environment. This person will be tasked with partnering closely with site leadership, engineering, and operations teams to reduce risk, strengthen safety culture, and support regulatory compliance. The Role

The Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in an environmental, health, and safety role within manufacturing, industrial, or related environments.
  • Strong understanding of OSHA, environmental regulations, and workplace safety management systems.
  • Demonstrated project management, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; professional safety certifications are preferred but not required.
