Job summary

Sila is seeking an experienced EHS&S Site Manager for its Moses Lake facility. You will lead environmental, health, safety, process safety and sustainability programs across research, battery operations, development tools, and manufacturing.

Responsibilities include building a culture of safety, guiding permitting activities, training, and incident response. This role requires deep regulatory knowledge and a track record of improving safety metrics in high-volume manufacturing contexts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in EHS&S with 5+ years in leadership.
• Bachelor's Degree in Safety and Occupational Health or relevant discipline.
• Strong leadership, listening, communication, and analytical skills with mentoring and change-management abilities.
• Proven track record of driving engagement in safety and health across an organization.
• Experience with industrial workplace hazards and hazard-control programs.
• High-volume manufacturing experience in semiconductor, PV, chemical industry, batteries or similar is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOSH, NFPA standards, Fire Codes, CGA standards, and Ecology regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee environmental, health, safety, Process Safety and sustainability at the Moses Lake facility (research, battery operations, development tools, manufacturing).
• Manage and implement safety programs and foster a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
• Support air and water permitting activities and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide guidance to department managers and employees on EHS matters, including training and incidents.
• Coordinate with the property management company to align operations with site requirements.
• Develop and manage EHS and Process Safety Management Systems and share best practices with operations.
