Job summary

nVent seeks an experienced EHS leader to drive safety and environmental programs across multiple facilities. You will champion a zero-harm culture, develop strategic EHS plans, and coordinate with diverse teams to ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.

Leadership in a multi-site manufacturing context is essential. The role emphasizes implementing Safety Management Systems and Environmental Management Systems while advancing sustainability initiatives and regulatory adherence

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EHS, Operations, Engineering or business-related field (MBA or Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years leading safety and environmental management systems.
• Experience leading safety across construction, field services and multi-site manufacturing.
• Minimum 2 years in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS initiatives across multiple locations and drive a zero-harm culture.
• Coordinate and harmonize EHS programs; share standard processes.
• Develop strategic EHS plans; monitor, analyze and report on progress.
• Provide direction to site teams to promote safety culture.
• Develop and apply proactive EHS tools and implement improvements.
• Manage environmental processes to meet regulatory requirements and permits.
• Advance sustainability projects aligned with company targets.
• Stay current with regulatory requirements and close gaps.
• Engage plant personnel in EHS program development and implementation.
• Lead EHS incidents through problem solving and corrective actions.
• Implement SMS and EMS and pursue ISO certifications for focus facilities.
