Job summary

The Manager of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) at A.W. Chesterton Company oversees and advances EHS programs for multiple locations and administrative offices located in the US.

This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; manages all aspects of environmental, health, and safety programs; and drives continuous improvement in risk reduction, incident prevention, environmental performance, and safety culture.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Experience building or improving an EMS (ISO 14001).
• Ability to interpret complex environmental and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy and execute EHS strategy to mitigate risk to people, property & community.
• Lead incident investigations, root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Build, track and maintain EMS metrics and action plans.
• Ensure on-site compliance with federal, state and local regulations for Sales, Service and Retail.
• Oversee safety training programs and LMS documentation.
