Job summary

Arcwood Environmental, LLC is seeking a Manager, Safety & Compliance to lead environmental, health and safety initiatives across our facility. You will develop strategies to respond to regulatory changes, evaluate compliance, and determine permit impacts on operations.

You will supervise audits, permits, training, reporting and continuous improvement of EHS programs, partnering with leadership and staff to manage incidents and investigations.

Qualifications

• Must hold a science/engineering/safety degree; ASP/CSP preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years in chemical industry with process safety management and regulatory compliance; or 9+ years without a degree.
• Experience with treatment, storage and disposal facilities and hazardous waste incineration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies and maintaining safe practices.
• Represents the facility to regulatory agencies in routine communications and projects.
• Administers audits, permits and facility compliance; reviews regulations and impacts.
• Compiles and submits reports to agencies as required; implements daily EHS programs.
• Maintains EHS programs and permits; conducts audits and regulatory tracking; data collection and reporting.
