Blue Origin is seeking a Senior EHS Manager to support Launch and Recovery Operations at its Florida facilities. You will lead EHS teams, ensure compliance with OSHA/EPA/State rules, and implement safety programs across manufacturing and operations.

The role emphasizes experience in process safety, environmental health, and incident investigations, with travel up to 30% and relocation provided. Strong writing and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, environmental science, industrial hygiene, or occupational safety.
• 8+ years total work in EHS.
• 5+ years work experience in operational aerospace environment, manufacturing, or chemical industry.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA and State of Florida regulations.
• Knowledge of Process Safety Management methods.
• Knowledge of incident / accident reporting practices, investigations, root cause / corrective action processes.
• Good analytical skills and attention to details, technical writing, with an ability to interpret and communicate complex technical information.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary EHS leader supporting Launch and Recovery operations, ensuring safe execution of launch campaigns, recovery activities, and associated ground operations.
• Manages EHS professionals in accomplishment of organizational goals.
• Implements EHS programs for the evaluation and control of potential hazards including, but not limited to industrial hygiene; fall protection; confined space; lock out tag out; process safety management; hazard assessments; hearing conservation and noise hazards; heat stress; and environmental management.
• Performs a wide range of EHS consultation services, which includes planning, managing, and reporting the results of assessments.
• Provides domain expertise in design and test reviews.
• Provides support to incidents, including spills; injuries, hazardous operations; launches; hurricanes; and other emergencies.
