Job summary

Nexxta in the United States is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Manager to oversee safety and environmental activities across four facilities. You will lead risk assessments, ensure regulatory compliance, and develop enterprise-wide EHS programs.

This role requires a strong background in manufacturing safety, experience implementing safety initiatives, and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• BS in Occupational Safety & Health or related discipline; demonstrated competency accepted.
• Quarterly travel to Indiana facility.
• 5–10 years of safety process experience in manufacturing; injection molding a plus.
• Environmental compliance experience (CAA, CWA, RCRA, SPCC, ISO 14001).
• Track record of proactively implementing successful safety initiatives.
• Experience with human and organizational performance concepts is a plus.
• Ability to lead and develop direct reports.
• Strong understanding of state and federal safety regulations.
• Ability to guide teams in incident learning and process improvement.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration; capable with multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Leads environmental, sustainability and safety processes within the assigned plant(s).
• Contributes to companywide EHS programs and activities.
• Develops procedures for compliance with environmental and safety standards and assists staff with implementation.
• Ensures adherence to environmental requirements; conducts inspections and tracking as needed.
• Interprets and adapts corporate policies; supports policy implementation.
• Leads incident learning and worker’s compensation processes with HR.
• Develops, tracks and presents KPIs reflecting location status in EHS system.
• Provides training in safe work practices; maintains documentation.
• Conducts risk analysis and maintains regular plant-floor presence.
• Drives continuous improvement to reduce risk and improve safety.
