Job summary

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions Switzerland AG seeks an experienced Environmental Health & Safety leader to implement ISO45001 and oversee risk management across manufacturing sites in the US. The role drives safety training, audits, and compliance, coordinating with operations to sustain a safe, efficient production environment.

Ideal candidate brings 8+ years in EH&S with manufacturing leadership, GMP/ISO knowledge, and strong collaboration across engineering and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering or related technical field
• 8+ years of related EH&S experience in facilities/maintenance and EH&S
• 5+ years in a manufacturing environment and in a leadership role
• Knowledge of GMP/ISO standards and FDA guidance
• 3+ years in a maintenance leadership role
• Experience with blueprint reading and hydraulic/pneumatic systems

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain ISO45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) policies
• Conduct risk assessments and preventative measures to minimize hazards
• Lead safety committee and conduct environmental and safety audits
• Ensure compliance with environmental laws, regulations and site policies
• Prepare and present reports on accidents, incidents, and metrics
• Oversee EMS and related certifications; manage waste and emissions
• Coordinate with operations to develop contingency plans and site layout
• Travel up to 30% for site assessments and audits
