Job summary

You will develop and maintain EHS programs, conduct audits, deliver training, investigate incidents, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, compliant operations across manufacturing, laboratory, and support areas. This is an on-site, full-time role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Safety, Safety Engineering, or related field.
• 3–7 years of EHS experience required.
• Pharmaceutical manufacturing or petrochemical refining experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations and compliance programs.
• ISO 9001/14001/45001 or OHSAS 18001 preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs for safe work practices and sustainable operations.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and assessments to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
• Investigate injuries, incidents, and environmental events; perform root-cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Deliver EHS training and provide guidance on safety, environmental responsibilities, and procedures.
• Support regulatory compliance with environmental, health, and safety laws and internal policies.
• Maintain accurate EHS records, investigation docs, and audit findings.
• Manage EHS projects independently, prioritizing tasks to meet timelines.
• Collaborate with site stakeholders to address compliance gaps and drive issue resolution.
