Job summary

Bimeda, Inc. in Minneapolis area is seeking an experienced EHS Specialist to oversee and improve Environmental, Health, and Safety programs.

You will collaborate with operations leaders to align EHS with production goals and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The role is hybrid with three days onsite weekly and occasional evenings/weekends; you will lead safety audits, incident investigations, and training, driving a strong safety culture and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 6+ years managing EHS programs in industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and local regulations.
• Experience coordinating across multiple sites.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and continuously improve EHS programs across sites.
• Collaborate with operational leaders to align EHS with production goals.
• Lead incident investigations and root-cause analyses.
• Develop and implement EHS policies and training.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and promote safety culture.
• Support environmental compliance including waste, air, and water controls.
• Conduct safety audits, risk assessments and JHA reviews.
• Engage leadership and maintain strong safety metrics reporting.
