Job summary

Concentric, LLC is seeking an experienced Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Director to lead the company’s EHS programs and initiatives. This role reports to the VP of HR, Safety & Training, with 2+ direct reports, and requires coordinating with senior management to embed EHS into strategic decisions, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• Master's degree in Safety, Environmental Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), CHMM, or similar credential preferred
• Must pass a background check and drug screen
• Must have 10+ years of progressive EHS/related experience and 5+ years in a leadership role
• Extensive knowledge of OSHA/DOT and Environmental regulations

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall EHS strategy aligned with the company mission, vision, and values
• Lead investigations involving injuries, accidents, environmental incidents, near misses, and property damage with root cause analysis
• Monitor and ensure DOT and environmental regulatory compliance across dispersed operations
• Oversee EHS reporting to regulatory bodies and maintain relationships with agencies
• Develop and manage EHS department budget and staff
• Design health and safety programs and promote a strong safety culture
• Drive sustainability initiatives and waste reduction programs
• Travel 30-50% as required
