Job summary

DCS Corp is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Officer to lead EHS across 19 facilities and support the Director of Corporate Services. The role focuses on implementing a culture of safety, ensuring OSHA compliance, and managing safety-related expenditures.

Responsibilities include audits, training, policy development, and liaison with vendors and regulators to maintain a safe work environment. Strong organizational and executive-level reporting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years in environmental science/health, safety, or related field.
• Professional certification: ASP, CSP, OHST or similar.
• Hazardous Waste Generator Training.
• Ability to read building plans.
• Ability to present and report to executive leadership.
• Proficient with MS Office, SharePoint, Deltek and reporting logs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee EHS at 19 DCS facilities and support Director of Corporate Services.
• Administer fire safety, health, and OSHA compliant practices.
• Conduct annual EHS audits and coordinate corrective actions.
• Provide EHS training and education to employees.
• Maintain safety documentation and LMS materials.
• Monitor safety program budgets and expenditures.
• Coordinate safety communications and risk assessments.
• Liaise with vendors and regulators on safety matters.
