Job summary

Concentric, LLC is seeking an Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Director to provide strategic direction and leadership for the company’s EHS programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and a culture of safety across the organization. This role reports to the VP of HR, Safety & Training and typically oversees 2+ direct reports.

The director will develop and implement EHS strategies, lead investigations, and manage budgets while driving continuous improvement and risk reduction across all sites

Qualifications

• Requires 10+ years in Environmental, Health & Safety roles including dispersed operations.
• 5+ years in EHS leadership.
• Experience managing EHS budgets and vendor relationships.
• DOT/OSHA regulatory knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall EHS strategy aligned with company goals.
• Lead investigations into serious injuries, environmental incidents, and near misses with root-cause analysis.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state OSHA and DOT regulations across multiple locations.
• Oversee workers' compensation, auto and general liability claims and safety program enforcement.
• Develop risk management plans and KPIs; monitor progress and reporting to executives.
• Travel 30–50% and support dispersed field operations.
