Job summary

Vantage Data Centers LLC in Shackelford, Texas is seeking a Senior Manager of Environmental Health & Safety to lead the EHS program for Project Frontier, a large-scale AI data center build. You will partner with GC, OFCI vendors, and stakeholders to ensure safe, compliant construction and operations.

The role requires 5+ years in EHS for data center or industrial construction, strong contractor management, and the ability to drive safety culture beyond compliance on-site in Texas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental health & safety, construction management, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of EHS experience in data center construction or large-scale industrial projects.
• Ability to drive safety culture beyond compliance and partner with stakeholders.
• Experience supporting EHS programs during white space construction and commissioning.
• Strong contractor management and construction safety knowledge.
• Willingness to travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic EHS leadership and site oversight across white space work areas.
• Lead health and safety audits and ensure compliance with programs and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain EHS plans for emergencies, business continuity, and events.
• Oversee safety recordkeeping and data integrity across sites.
• Analyze safety data trends and report to executives.
• Assist with contractor and vendor EHS documentation and onboarding.
• Investigate incidents and track corrective actions.
