Job summary

Paligen Technologies is seeking a Senior Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead strategic EHS programs across operations. You will oversee construction safety, contractor management, and compliance with OSHA, EPA, and NFPA standards, while integrating risk management into design and project work.

You will drive a proactive culture, develop KPIs, and mentor EHS staff, collaborating with Operations, Engineering, HR, and Legal to advance incident-free performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Safety, Construction Management, Safety Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years EHS experience in industrial, manufacturing, or construction environments, incl. construction projects.
• Proven success implementing ISO 14001/45001 or similar management systems.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards and contractor safety management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s multi-year EHS strategy aligned with objectives and regulations.
• Lead implementation of EHS programs ensuring OSHA, EPA, NFPA and local compliance.
• Oversee construction safety planning, contractor management, and site audits.
• Mentor EHS staff and collaborate with Operations, Engineering, HR, and Legal.
• Drive continuous improvement with KPIs, dashboards, and new safety tech.
