Job summary

Paligen Technologies is seeking a Senior Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead our EHS programs across operations. This on-site role is based in Tampa, FL (Graham, KY as alternative) and focuses on strategic leadership, regulatory compliance, and incident-free performance in high-hazard manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Safety, Construction Management, Safety Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive EHS experience in industrial, manufacturing, or construction environments.
• At least 5 years in chemical, energetic, or explosive manufacturing preferred.
• Experience leading EHS programs during construction, capital projects, or site expansions.
• ISO 14001/45001 implementation experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards and contractor safety management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi-year EHS strategy aligned with objectives and regulatory frameworks.
• Lead implementation of EHS programs to ensure OSHA/EPA compliance.
• Support incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Oversee contractor safety programs and site safety plans.
• Partner with design and construction teams to embed safety in project specs.
• Mentor EHS staff and coordinate multisite committees.
• Track EHS performance with KPIs and dashboards.
