Job summary

Paligen Technologies seeks a Senior Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead strategic EHS programs across operations in Graham, KY. The role emphasizes construction safety, regulatory compliance, and industry risk management.

The ideal candidate will drive ISO 14001/45001-aligned initiatives, manage high-hazard manufacturing risks, and mentor EHS staff across multiple sites. Strong DoD and DoD-related requirements experience is preferred. Travel ~30% to project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Safety, Construction Management or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive EHS experience in industrial, manufacturing, or construction environments.
• Significant work in construction projects; 5+ years in chemical, energetic, or explosive manufacturing preferred.
• Experience leading EHS programs during construction, capital projects, or site expansions.
• Proven success implementing ISO 14001/45001 systems or similar frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s multi-year EHS strategy aligned with objectives and regulatory frameworks.
• Lead implementation of EHS programs to ensure OSHA/EPA/NFPA compliance.
• Support incident response, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Provide hands-on support for risk assessments and safety planning across sites.
• Lead multisite EHS committees and develop KPIs, dashboards, and reporting.
