AGC Biologics, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Environmental Health & Safety to lead the development and implementation of EHS programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence at the Bothell site.

You will foster a proactive safety culture and guide continuous improvement across the organization. The role focuses on building robust EHS procedures, managing audits, and coordinating with operations to evaluate risks related to new processes and projects.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental health and safety or related science field (or equivalent).
• 10 years’ experience in environmental health and safety management, preferably in biopharmaceutical or chemical industries.
• Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state and local EHS laws and regulations including environmental permitting, emergency planning and life safety requirements.
• Expertise with ergonomics, safety analysis methods, and control strategies.
• Experience implementing EHS management systems (ISO14001, ISO45001).
• Ability to collect and analyze data, assess risk factors and identify solutions.

Responsabilidades

• Leads site EHS efforts to build a safe work culture and robust EHS procedures and processes.
• Develops and implements site-specific EHS strategies and plans to meet goals.
• Keeps regulatory compliance, minimizes risks, and supports company EHS goals.
• Leads EHS management system reviews and audit processes for regulatory conformance.
• Oversees EHS training programs and site e-learning systems.
• Interfaces with regulatory agencies and maintains environmental permits and reporting.
• Directly supervises and develops the EHS team.
