Blue Origin LLC is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist for the Florida site. You will lead hazardous waste handling, conduct inspections, and support safety programs across several categories, ensuring regulatory compliance and continuous improvement of safety culture.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Environmental Health and Safety or related field required.
• 3–5 years of industry-related experience preferred.
• Must complete RCRA and DOT training within six months of hire.
• Willing to obtain forklift and First Aid/CPR/AED certifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste: labeling, inspection, and shipment coordination.
• Conduct routine environmental and safety inspections (storm water, SPCC, wastewater, extinguishers).
• Participate in monthly safety walks and safety committee actions; track corrective actions.
