Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking an EHS professional to lead environmental, health, and safety programs across headquarters and satellite sites in Washington. You will ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state regs, and support design reviews, incident investigations, and training.

The role requires experience in industrial hygiene, risk assessment, and a strong commitment to safety and quality in aerospace manufacturing and prototyping environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering, chemistry, environmental science, industrial hygiene, or occupational safety.
• Knowledge and ability to use industrial hygiene tools and monitors.
• Expertise in writing technical reports.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA and State of Washington regulations.
• Knowledge of Process Safety Management methods.
• Knowledge of incident reporting practices and root-cause analysis.
• Strong technical writing and ability to communicate complex information.

Responsibilities

• Implements EHS programs for hazards evaluation and control.
• Performs planning, management, and reporting of assessments.
• Provides SME in design and test reviews and in incidents response.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regs at HQ and sites.
• Prepare reports to federal and state agencies as required.
• Develop and deliver EHS training and site safety coordination.
• Assist in waste disposal and environmental management tasks.
• Support job hazard analyses and risk assessments.
