The role requires a degree in EHS, 3–5 years of industry experience, RCRA/DOT training, and readiness to obtain forklift and First Aid/CPR/AED certifications, with flexibility to work

Qualifikationen

• Requires Associate's Degree in Environmental Health and Safety or related field.
• 3–5 years of industry-related experience preferred.
• Must complete RCRA and DOT training within six months of hire.
• Willing to obtain forklift and First Aid/CPR/AED certifications.
• Flexible to work all hours, including weekends and off shifts.
• Knowledge of applicable safety and environmental regulations.
• Knowledge of local, state and federal laws/environmental, health and safety regulatory compliance.
• Self-starter and team player with strong communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• U.S. citizen or eligible for work in the U.S.
• Background check clearance.

Aufgaben

• Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste including labeling and shipment coordination.
• Conduct routine environmental and safety inspections (storm water, SPCC, wastewater, fire extinguishers, eyewash stations).
• Participate in monthly safety walks and safety committee actions.
• Enter data into EHS software modules.
• Provide EHS subject-matter support to work groups.
• Assist in incident investigations and follow-up actions.
• Contribute to Job Hazard Analyses and health and safety audits.
• Run reports to present information clearly.
• Support development and training of safety programs.
