Job summary

Blue Origin Florida site is seeking a highly motivated EHS professional to support Environmental, Health and Safety programs across operations, ensuring safety culture and regulatory compliance. You will oversee waste management, inspections, training, and incident investigations to maintain safe, compliant processes.

Requires an Associate's Degree in EHS or related field and 3–5 years of experience; willingness to obtain safety certifications; able to work varying shifts and pass background

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Environmental Health and Safety or related field.
• 3–5 years of industry experience preferred.
• Must complete RCRA and DOT training within six months.
• Willing to obtain forklift and First Aid/CPR/AED certifications.
• Flexible to work all hours, including weekends and off shifts.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste including labeling, inspection and shipment coordination.
• Conduct routine environmental and safety inspections (storm water, SPCC, wastewater, extinguishers, eyewash stations).
• Participate in monthly safety walks and safety committee; follow up on corrective actions.
• Enter data into EHS software modules.
• Provide EHS expertise to work groups and answer questions.
• Assist in incident investigations and follow-up actions.
• Review Job Hazard Analysis with the team and support audits.
