Job summary

Lam Research in Tualatin, Oregon seeks an EHS Engineer to provide technical leadership for environmental, health, safety, and chemical management programs across a semiconductor campus. You will partner with engineering, facilities, and manufacturing teams to identify risks, ensure regulatory compliance, drive continuous improvement, and safeguard employee safety.

You will evaluate operations, chemicals, and processes to prevent injuries and environmental impacts while maintaining ISO 14001

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EHS or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of EHS experience in semiconductor/manufacturing or similarly regulated environments.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and compliance evaluations.
• Strong knowledge of environmental, occupational health & safety and regulatory compliance principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve EHS and chemical management programs.
• Evaluate equipment, processes, chemicals, and operations to identify EHS risks and ensure compliance.
• Support process safety activities including hazard analyses, HAZOP participation, and risk reduction.
• Provide technical guidance on environmental compliance, occupational safety, industrial hygiene, and hazardous materials management.
• Monitor regulatory developments and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Analyze EHS performance data, incidents, and audits to identify improvements and actions.
• Lead or support incident investigations and CAPA programs.
• Collaborate with engineering, facilities, manufacturing, and labs to embed EHS into processes.
• Conduct compliance assessments, inspections, audits, and program evaluations.
