Job summary

Lam Research in Tualatin, Oregon is seeking an experienced EHS Engineer to lead environmental, health, safety, and chemical management programs on-site at our semiconductor campus. You will collaborate with engineering, facilities, manufacturing, and labs to identify risks and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting ISO 14001 certification.

The role focuses on risk assessments, process safety, incident investigations, CAPA, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline related to EHS.
• Minimum 5+ years of EHS experience in regulated environments.
• Experience with risk assessments, incident investigations, and compliance evaluations.
• Experience influencing operational improvements through technical expertise.
• Strong knowledge of environmental, health and safety regulatory principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve environmental, health, safety, and chemical management programs.
• Perform risk assessments and manage change (MOC) processes.
• Participate in process safety activities (HAZOP, risk reduction).
• Provide guidance on compliance, safety, industrial hygiene, and chemical management.
• Monitor regulatory developments and maintain ISO 14001 certification.
• Lead investigations and CAPA to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with engineering, facilities, manufacturing, labs and business teams.
• Conduct audits and program evaluations to verify effectiveness.
